Accessibility Statement
I am committed to making this website as accessible and usable as possible for everyone, including disabled people and people using assistive technologies.
This is a personal portfolio website sharing my work across architecture, urban research, design, photography, writing and creative practice. I aim to present this material in a way that is clear, inclusive and easy to navigate across different devices.
My accessibility approach
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
I am working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, at Level AA where reasonably possible for a personal portfolio website. WCAG is an international standard for making digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of access needs, including people with visual, hearing, cognitive, motor and speech disabilities.
I aim to support accessibility by:
-
Using clear page titles, headings and a logical content structure.
-
Providing meaningful alternative text for important images where possible.
-
Using readable text, sufficient colour contrast and layouts that work across desktop and mobile devices.
-
Making links identifiable and descriptive.
-
Designing pages to be usable with keyboard navigation where possible.
-
Avoiding content that relies only on colour, imagery or hover effects to communicate essential information.
-
Reviewing new work and portfolio updates with accessibility in mind.
Known limitations
While I am continually improving the site, some parts may not yet be fully accessible.
-
Some older portfolio images, drawings, diagrams or project documents may have limited alternative text or may be difficult to interpret without visual context.
-
Some embedded content, including third-party platforms, PDFs, video players or external links, may not meet the same accessibility standards as this website.
-
Certain highly visual architectural and urban-design materials may require additional written descriptions. I am happy to provide these in an alternative format on request.
-
As the website is regularly updated, there may occasionally be temporary accessibility issues while new content is being added or revised.
Requesting information
If you experience an accessibility barrier, cannot access a document or image, or would like material in another format, please get in touch.
You can contact me at: gopinatha.alankriti@gmail.com
Please include:
-
The page or project you were trying to access.

A short description of the issue.

I will do my best to respond and provide an accessible alternative as soon as possible.
